The 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff will now include a simulcast of NFL Network with cable network Fox through Week 16. That means you can possibly watch Tom Brady’s first prime-time game with the Bucs on two channels of your television at once. He’ll be opposed by Nick Foles, who took over for Mitchell Trubisky in Chicago and makes this a Super Bowl LII rematch.

Both teams enter Thursday night’s game at 3-1, although moving in opposite directions. Tampa Bay has won its last three contests after losing in its opener against the Saints. On the other side, the Bears’ switch to Nick Foles worked in a Week 3 comeback to move to 3-0, but then he struggled in Week 4 in Chicago’s first loss of the season. After acquiring Foles in the offseason, the Bears should stick with him for a while even coming off that first defeat.
Brady could find throwing a bit difficult against the Bears, who have given up ample yardage but have been stingy in the red zone, allowing only three passing touchdowns through four weeks. Foles could again find up-hill sledding against Tampa Bay’s defense, which is one of the league’s most underrated units.

This will be Brady’s prime-time debut as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and it’ll come against the Bears playing their first prime-time game of the season, as well. Brady and the Bucs will get used to playing at night - from Weeks 7 through 9, they’ll play in prime time each week.
The Bears will also make it back on prime time in Week 7, when they’ll take on the Los Angeles Rams on “Monday Night Football.”
