The Avalanche bring a 3-1 series lead back to Denver for Game 5 after splitting Games 3 and 4 with the Lightning in Tampa. Nazem Kadri potted the overtime winner in his return for Colorado in Game 4, giving the Avs a 3-2 victory. 

Thanks to Kadri, the Avs are one win away from lifting the Stanley Cup and closing out the series at home. Colorado has yet to lose a game at Ball Arena since Game 5 of the second round, and it outscored Tampa Bay 11-3 in Games 1 and 2 there. 

The Lightning are facing elimination, something with which the back-to-back champions aren’t that familiar. They have played just two games this postseason with their backs against the wall; now, they need three straight wins for a third Cup.
